OWLS (50+)

  • Welcome to OWLS - Older, Wiser, Livlier Saints! 

    OWLS is a new community group that seeks to serve those 50+. We welcome anyone, single or married. Our aim is to build strong relationships through fun, fellowship, and meaningful outreach in our church and in our community. 


    Weekly meetings on Sunday morning, 10am currently in the office area off the main lobby.

CONNECT & SERVE

  • This is a group of adults seeking fellowship, including opportunities to study God's Word, serve others, and socialize together. 


    Single or married adults looking to connect more, know others, and be known in the church are welcome! During our meeting times we study the Bible and plan our serving and social events.

    This group meets Wednesdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm at GBCC.

MARRIAGE MATTERS

  • Marriage Matters is a weekly meeting for married couples of any age and any season of marriage.  It’s designed to give you the time, space and context to strengthen their marriage. Childcare is available through our children's department (only during the school year). Couples can join at any time, but it is encouraged to commit to a series of  content that can last approximately 5 weeks. Content will be a curated collection of experts on a variety of topics to dive into the areas that couples need the most.

  • We believe everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view. Alpha is run over the course of 11 weeks and includes food, talks, and conversation.

practicing the way

  • We found the 8-week Practicing the Way course by John Mark Comer to be a great foundation builder for your faith. It helps you establish a weekly rhythm of learning about the ways of Jesus within a community. You'll practice your own spiritual disciplines and deepen your relationship with God regularly.

    Future groups will start again on April 16th and then another will begin in June.

Enneagram Class

  • Just what is the Enneagram you may be wondering. Some describe it in this way:

    • It is a map of the human personalty

    • It is a tool for navigating relationships

    • It creates language for what motivates us and helps us look at the way we look at everything else

    • It is a mirror because sometimes we need help in how we see ourselves

    You may already know of the Enneagram and your number, or perhaps this is new to you. This class will begin by affirming your number or helping you discover your number. It will continue by providing language and pathways for making use of knowing your number. In addition, you will gain insight into the other numbers and the people you know that have discovered their number. The class will be facilitated by me and the material was designed by Suzanne Stabile, a world-renowned teacher of all things Enneagram.

  • The Heart Work - Declutter Your Past to Make Room for an Amazing Future by Jackie Dorman Women's 5 week book study with Elevation Church and GBCC

    "God doesn't want to fix my mess; He wants to heal my heart." In this book Jackie guides you on a discovery process that helps you identify and heal the roots of your chronic heart issues such as depression, anxiety, loneliness, anger, jealousy, people pleasing and much more. She coaches you through your roadblocks so you can gain the practical and spiritual tools to achieve your authentic life and true identity.

    This study requires a weekly commitment. $20 for the workbook.

  • Hey, if you’re post-high school, young adult looking to plug into a community of believers, you’ve come to the right place.

    We’ll be meeting weekly for connection, Bible study, and hangouts.  Meets Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm at Green Bay Community in the Connect Lounge off the main lobby.

WOMENS WEDNESDAY MORNING

  • This group meets most Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:15 am in the GBCC Chapel. All women are welcome!

MENS thursday NIGHTS

  • The Thursday night Bible study meets weekly for fellowship, scripture reading, discussion and prayer. We read through different books of the Bible, line by line and the attendees select the books to be studied. The pace of the study is based upon the depth of the discussion. Any and all men are welcome to attend at any time. 

    This group is currently meeting in person at GBCC in the Fish Tank from 6:30-8:30pm and will continue meeting throughout the year.
